Atmosphere: Yesterday

When it comes to hiphop no one explores the plight of the working class better than Atmosphere.  When Life Hands You Lemons, Paint That Shit Gold is arguably Ant and Slug's best album or at least the one that made a seismic leap for them.

One song in particular is called "yesterday" And it's one of those songs that– everyone I've ever played it for has the same reaction at the end. They burst into tears.

I won't spoil the ending but it is has a lot in common with O Henry or a classic country song in that you don't see it coming until it hits you in the face.
