Fault Tolerant
Somewhere between leaving California and Moving to Nashville I started making music under the name Fault Tolerant. For those who don't know, fault tolerance is the ability of a system to continue working when one or more components fail. This generally refers to tech, but I think it's applicable to society as well. A lot of the music I'm creating is done in Ableton Live but I also incorporate found sounds and samples. It's not a complete breakdown of music, but something is always "off," for a reason.
A lot of the album art comes from collages my mom created back in the 1960's. It's nice having her creativity live on, even though she's long gone.
