Welcome to A-sides & B-sides

The stories were based on the titles of some of my favorite songs.
But the stories aren't about the songs. I used the titles as inspiration to create something new.

That something new is a collection called A-sides & B-sides. It's not quite available but it will be very soon.

Mostly these stories deal with our relationship to technology in one way or another. Like music, I prefer not to think in terms of genre as that is an unnecessary classification and one that is as superficial as describing The Beatles as "classic rock."

I did not write any stories based on Beatles songs. Instead chose song titles from bands like Luna, Camper Van Beethoven, Ween, Funkadelic, The Woolen Men, Robyn Hitchcock, Guided by Voices, The Dead Milkmen, Tricky, Adrian Belew and a few others. You might be familiar with these musicians. Then again, you might not. In the end it's not incredibly important to have the same frame of reference.

I did take care to order these stories as if the book were an album.

It's all killer and no filler.
