Red tide. Blue light.
Tonight we ventured out of the four walls to see the bioluminescent sea caused by red tide tonight. There were families there, all spaced a respectable distance from one another. I forgot what it was like to see families out and about.
To say the red tide phenomenon was magical was an understatement. Eventually everyone just stopped taking pictures, realizing no smart phone would ever do it justice, and just stayed in the moment.
The world needs more otherworldly.
And the sky was clear, too. In a decade of living here, I've never seen L.A. so quiet or clear. I wish it would stay this way.
