Rolling Stones: Living in a Ghost Town

I'm a ghost living in a ghost town. Life was so beautiful then we all got locked down.

Rolling Stones dropped a new single, their first new music in nine years. You can connect the dots to the darker mid-tempo tracks like "Harlem Shuffle" and "Miss You." For dudes in their 70's it's a pretty damn good track, and I think it comes down to the simplicity. They aren't trying too hard here. It's effortless.

I hate to say it because it's kind of cliché at this point but conflict (inrernal or external) can be energizing.  The internal stuff produced a lot of great albums by the Beatles and Fleetwood Mac. The external stuff like Vietnam and now the Rona will hopefully do the same.
