The Inner Light

This song has been resonating with me over the past year for obvious reasons. But also not so obvious ones.

In a few weeks, a new campaign for a home improvement store will start airing during March Madness. It's the first work I've done since taking a job as a creative director at the beginning of the year. The work includes a :60 spot, two :30's and then a bunch of other campaigns, mostly TV, online video and radio will also go live.

It's an incredibly large amount of work to get out the door at the same time, and in such a short time frame. I frankly don't know how I managed to do so without getting stressed about it. Perhaps that was due in large part to being at home the whole time.

I don't think anyone would want to live under house arrest and certainly the past thirteen months have taught me that I would like more space in my own home. But that's okay. Home, like life is what you make it.

Consdiering we shot everything remotely collaborating with our directors via zoom, George Harrison's paraphrase of the Tao Te Ching is more relevant than ever.

Without going out of my door. I can know all things on Earth.

Without looking out of my window. I can know the ways of heaven.

The farther one travels. The less one knows.

Also: If you aren't following me on Twitter you probably should.
